Reader's Digest has published the story of Patty and Siobhan O'Reilly, who have been part of the IPP family for a dozen years. Patty was the first surrogate survivor speaker for our Victim/Offender Education Group over a decade ago, and Siobhan was the inspiring survivor speaker at the last annual Beyond the Bars celebration. The O'Reilly family's journey with Insight Prison Project began with a card Siobhan made, complete with a panda sticker, when she was just 8 years old.

It's best to exercise caution when installing wall cabinets in a kitchen with a lower ceiling to prevent the room from seeming claustrophobic.

What a moving story about Patty and Siobhan O’Reilly. It’s amazing to see how one small act of kindness, like an 8-year-old’s card with a panda sticker, grew into over a decade of meaningful involvement with the Insight Prison Project. Their continued presence as survivor speakers shows how healing and connection can ripple outward, inspiring so many others. Truly powerful.

Forgiveness truly requires a tremendous amount of courage, and I genuinely admire you for having that strength. It's not easy to let go, but your willingness to forgive speaks volumes about your character.
