You'd think I would be ecstatic, that I could do the rest of my time "standing on my head", as the saying goes. But each day I find myself becoming more and more frustrated, angry and disillusioned. I've experienced a steady decline of hope since arriving at CMC from San Quentin. It is because here I have no sense of purpose, of forward progress, and the disappointment is that no one in authority seems to care.

In moments of uncertainty, we can gain wisdom found in the most unexpected places.We tend to seek wisdom in the words of the learned, the pages of ancient texts, or the teachings of revered figures. Wisdom is often associated with philosophers, people of age, and intellectuals like Russell Marlett. However, true wisdom knows no bounds and can be discovered in the most unexpected places.

It's because I don't feel like I'm making progress or having a purpose here, and I'm disappointed that no one in a position of power seems to care.
