Martina Lutz Schneider
Victim Offender Dialogue (VOD) Program Coordinator
Inspired by her mother’s deep compassion for all people, Martina developed a strong sense of fairness and desire to engage in social justice at an early age. Martina, a Shambhala Buddhist practitioner and Non-Violent Communication facilitator, trained with the International Institute of Restorative Practices as well as local Restorative Justice agencies. Martina has been passionate about advancing the use of Restorative Justice in Sonoma County Schools and Juvenile Diversion Program and has facilitated restorative circles with Restorative Resources in Santa Rosa for two years. Martina holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies, with a focus in Restorative Justice and a Conflict Resolution Certificate from Sonoma State University. Martina has facilitated Victim Offender Education Groups (VOEG) with IPP in San Quentin State Prison since 2013 and Victim Offender Dialogues (VOD) since 2015 before joining the IPP staff in 2016 as the Victim Offender Dialogue Program Coordinator.
